Caleb Stews... Caleb Smells a Rat #BB16

Caleb is putting together what Frankie said to him, and then compared that to what Amber and Nicole said to him, and things don't add up.

Frankie is in big trouble with Caleb.   Derrick came in and kind of calmed Caleb down, telling him to go directly to Frankie to discuss it with him.  Derrick asked him to please wait five minutes though, so it doesn't look like Derrick is the one who spilled information to Caleb.

Amber walked in and Caleb requested time with her, "without her walkin' off".  Now in the Hive Caleb confirms Amber's story, and announces that Frankie is the one who wants Amber out.

Amber is very calm, but now Caleb tells Amber that all of the guys were in on the plan, even Cody and Derrick.

Amber:  Now I am seeing who I can trust...I'm proud of myself...I'm not going to cry in front of Zach.  All he wants to do is be the center of attention.

I know the story is getting convoluted, but things are happening fast and I am trying to keep an eye on it and also my real job, where I have real work to do.

Let's Survey the Live Feeds for Damage From the ZachQuake #BB16

Christine and Zach walked up to the HoH Room together and it was clear they were trying to hold it together until they were alone.  As soon as they were both inside, emotions exploded.

Christine: Your TV time is going to be unreal!  That was great!

Zach:  It was great, wasn't it?

Christine:  It's just absurd to me that you feel comfortable doing things like that.  I don't even want to talk to her now....I didn't want to before, but I had to, because she was...she was here..but now..

Zach: No one ever talks to the person going one talked to Brittany that last week either.

Caleb came in the room and in front of Christine Zach apologized to Caleb, saying he was very sorry for what he said, and he hopes Caleb isn't upset.  As Christine left Zach mentioned they would have some "hammock time" later to talk.

As soon as she was gone, Zach and Caleb did a fist bump or snap or something like that, celebrating.   Then Zach expressed "surprise" that Hayden used the PoV on Victoria, and not Jocosta.

Caleb:  I knew it...he told me right before.

In The Hive, Cody and Derrick chat about Caleb.  Derrick tells Cody that even after what just happened, they have to pump Amber up all week, saying that Zach is an asshole who needs to be backdoored, and letting her think she has their votes.

Cody looks Amber right in the eye when he speaks to her, but Derrick says he has problems with that.  He's glad Cody looked right at her, and says he fed off that during their talk.

(Look at all of those folded towels....I'll bet Amber folded them.  If I were her I'd run outside with them and throw them over the wall...)

Cody:  I'm getting really sick of Zach and his mouth..throwing me under the bus all the time.

Derrick:  You should tell him that.

Cody wants to get rid of Caleb, too, but Derrick says loyalty is everything to Caleb.

Derrick:  He has that military mentality---he doesn't have the ability to lie.

Cody:  I don't think he does....

Cody says he has been so paranoid about Caleb coming after him, but Derrick says that feeling will be gone as soon as Amber leaves.  Derrick doesn't think Caleb would every come after Cody.

(Not sure what Zach said about Cody, but maybe it was something about Amber flirting with him.  Zach and Frankie giggled that they would keep throwing Cody under the bus all week...)

The cameras change to the storage room, where Hayden and Donny embark on a search for lunchmeat.

Hayden:  I was nervous...a little...

Donny:  But then Zach got up and started talkin' and everything was did great!

Hayden:  Did you enjoy this episode?  I told you it would be a good one.

Donny:  It was good.  Is that ham right there?  Or turkey?

Hayden:  That's ham.  Definitely ham.

You can't even see Donny in the pictures, because he is kneeling down inside the fridge.

The cameras switch back to The Hive, where Derrick tells Cody that the people he would put up on the block are the people that would put him up on the block.

Derrick:  So that's Jocosta...and Donny.

Cody nods.  Derrick is glad that Cody is seeing the light about Caleb being loyal.

Cody:  Me and Caleb had a straight up convo last night, and he said he's happy going to the end with our six, but he wishes Zach wasn't in it...and Hayden was in there instead.

Derrick:  You don't think Caleb will change his mind after what Zach just did for him?

Cody:  No, because I think it will all blow up in Caleb's face.

Then they discuss that "when they get down to that" Frankie and Hayden are the only ones who can beat them in the end (at comps and the final vote, maybe?) so they really need to target them before they target Caleb.

Derrick says Christine's knowledge of the days in the house, and the events will smoke them both in the end of the game.

Derrick says Caleb will hang on to something until his hands fall off--that is the way the military programmed him..if he loses, he's dead.

Derrick: But is he a talker and a bullshit artist?

Cody says last night the stories were incredible...he was a bull rider, a professional snow boarder...

Cody:  Get this...he told me last night that he'd never even walked on a soccer field, but if he did he'd get signed immediately.

Derrick, laughing:  Oh, the other night he told me that he was re-thinking the whole country thing...instead when he gets out of here he wants to be the next Robin Thicke or John Legend.

This is too much for Cody to take.

Cody thinks it may be tough to get rid of Frankie and Derrick agrees.  They both think the minute Frankie is on the block though, people will vote him out.  Derrick points out that the longer they both stay, the more power they will have.  Derrick cautions him to keep Zach close, because they need him right now.

Cody:  I want to know what he's up there saying to Frankie about me!  I'll bet he's throwing you under the bus, too!

Derrick:  I don't trust Frankie.  But watch what you say, because Zach is voting for Frankie to win, not us.

Cody:  I'm not gonna say anything to him..

Derrick:  Both of us are playing the social game right now...we're playing the "you can trust me game"

Cody:  No one has more trust in this house than we have right now.

Derrick:  Exactly.  So we have the most to lose if Amber blows up our game.  No one trusts Caleb...or Zach...or Frankie...

Cody:  Dude.  No one trusts Frankie.

Amber interrupted them just as Cody was about to say something important to Derrick.  She is whining again about being a pawn, why isn't Zach on the block instead of her?

(Does she really think Frankie would put Zach up on the block?)

Zach's evil laughter can be heard in the distance, even with the door closed.

Amber is On The Block, But is Still Clueless #BB16

She sat with Derrick, Cody and Frankie,  going over and over what she sees are the facts.  She points out that Frankie has nominated her twice now as the pawn, and she just doesn't understand it.

Derrick tells her she has votes, and starts counting.  Amber says she needs them to talk to people on her behalf, to be sure she stays.

(Which is exactly why she needs to go home.)

Did Derrick and Cody call each other about their outfits today?  Is today Hipster Doofus day in the Big Brother house?

At least Amber looked great on camera.  That's something, right?

Amber:  If all of this is personal...if this is just because I don't want to be in a's not fair....because there are personal reasons why I don't want that....and I don't want to say..

Cody:  You shouldn't have to tell us that..

(Translation:  PLEASE don't tell us those reasons.)

Amber:  It's just.....(sniffle)....I lost someone close to me...

This whole ting didn't hurt Donny's appetite..or Hayden's either.

Apparently the fact that Caleb let Amber use his two blankets when they were Have Nots got thrown in her face today.

Amber asked Nicole later if she knew that was going to happen, and Nicole said no.  They both agreed that Zach would do anything to get camera time.

Amber:  If all this is personal....just because I don't want to go on a cruise with someone I barely know....

(The sound on my live feeds is jacked up right now....)

Victoria's Real Hair....Continued #BB16

Way back on June 27th, the day the feeds for Big Brother 16 went live, I watched Victoria pull Frankie into The Hive to share confidential information about her hair, or lack of hair, actually.

I wrote a brief summary of that scene here.

Well, this story exploded this week, after Victoria sat on the hammock with Cody during BBAD and confided in him regarding her hair issues.  Cody looked stunned to learn about Victoria's problem, because she really described it like she was bald. (She is far from bald.)

I think her point in telling Cody was to say that Amber knows she wears extensions, but constantly makes catty remarks about girls who wear extensions.  Because it is "I Hate Amber" week in the BB house, apparently.

This BBAD conversation ignited America's interest in Victoria's real hair, which is always covered up.  She goes into the toilet stall to remove and put in her extensions, which are clip-ons.

So I went back and watched the scene with Victoria and Frankie again, and took more pictures of her real hear.  This Flashback is from Friday June 27th, around 5:00 pm BBT.

Frankie made soothing remarks, saying it would take a few months for her hair to come back, and then he asked her how short it is.  She motioned it was shoulder length, and then she showed it to him.

Frankie told her she was beautiful, and stressed he never knew she wore extensions, they look so good.

Victoria said she hated the way her hair looks, and she can't even stand to look at it now.

Victoria:  I've never had such a small bun in my life!

Frankie said it felt really healthy, though.

She was so upset, and said she just had to share with someone.  She was scared to get the "sewn-in" extensions because her friend got those, and all of her hair fell out, too.

All women have their little "things" that bother them, so I can tell Victoria's feelings are genuine here.  But it is almost like an anorexic who looks in the mirror and sees body fat---Victoria's real hair is truly not as horrific as she thinks it is, and is probably healthier and fuller than many other heads of hair.

Maybe this is a lesson to all of us.  Things may not be as bad as we imagine them to be....

Zankie's Plan to Disrupt Today's PoV Ceremony, and Hayden is a Sneaky Bastard #BB16

Let me point out that Team America is encouraging Zach to act out today, since they want a second chance to win $5,000 each this week.  In order to win, a "heated exchange of at least 20 seconds" needs to erupt in either the nomination or PoV ceremony.  And the Team America members can't be part of it---they went in the DR to make sure they understood the rules, and it turns out only one person needs to act up for 20 seconds...and I certainly think Zach has a good 20 seconds in him.  Don't you?

Team America failed the first try, so today's PoV ceremony is their last chance to earn the money.  But Zach knows nothing about this...he just wants to cause a commotion, period.

So you know Hayden won the PoV....some people in the house think he won't use it, to leave nominations the same.  Caleb thinks he will use it to save Jocosta, so that Victoria will be voted out, leaving Amber to run to Caleb for protection this week.  (That is what Caleb hopes will happen.)

But Hayden will use it to save Victoria, and Frankie will then nominate Amber to take her place.

This Zankie conversation took place after 2:00 am BBT, this morning.

Frankie:  I'm just going to say that I got some information recently that I found very disturbing, and that is why I'm making the nomination.  I'll never tell anybody what that means, and people will go crazy.

Zach loves that statement, and thinks it is perfect.  As Hayden closes the PoV box, that is when Zach plans to stand up to make additional comments.  And all of his comments will be directed at Amber, in defense of the way she has treated Caleb in the Big Brother house.

(And another good cliffhanger moment for CBS, on the Wednesday show, right?)

Zach:  But is that a good look for me, defending Caleb?

(Frankie doesn't care how it looks on Zach, really, he just wants to win the Team America challenge.)

Zach doesn't plan to say everything that Caleb suggested, but Frankie stresses that everyone in the house wants this very badly.  Basically Zach is going to tell Amber that she has treated Caleb like shit, not even thanking him for everything that he's done for her, and then talking trash about him to the other house guests.

Frankie:  Let's face it...the only people in this house that we are putting on a show for are Jocosta and Victoria....and Amber.

Frankie:  Everyone else in the house knows what is going on...and why she's going up...Derrick is still concerned about her making up lies about Final Twos and so forth, but it doesn't matter!

(i.e. Derrick wants Amber to think she is staying, so the vote on Thursday shocks her and gives her limited time to do harm.)

Frankie:  Let her blow up her own game....I'm sure she thinks she has Final Four deals with everyone...let her do that...I don't care..

Frankie plans to fake cry later to Amber, saying that the situation is out of his hands now that she's on the block, and he can't even vote to save her.  Frankie didn't want Hayden to tell anybody that he is using the PoV, but he finally agreed that Hayden can tell people only moments before the PoV ceremony, so no one has time to scramble.

Frankie:  Christine and Nicole totally think you did them a huge favor this week...putting them on the block so now they are safe.

Zach confirms that Caleb thinks that it was totally his idea to put Amber on the block.  They both expect the vote to be unanimous to evict Amber.  They know Caleb will be upset but if he is really upset he will just be targeted the following week.

Zach:  Every vote this year has been unanimous, except the one with me and Pao we're not only controlling who goes up, we're controlling the votes, too!

Frankie:  This is only going to get interesting when we get to Jury...because then everyone is going to turn on each other....that is why we need to fucking lock it down...and I need you to go to Christine and make up with her...she's a huge asset to use in the Five (Detonators)..

Zach:  But how?  I don't get it?

Frankie:  We need her to go after the other if you want to go to the end with me, we need her.

Zach:  Oh okay..  I got it..

Frankie:  Because Derrick and Cody will come after me the minute we are down to five....I will be the first target.

Zach has told Frankie about the Three Amigos...Frankie asks if he is even considered the Fourth Amigo...would they keep him until fourth?

Zach:  We haven't got that far...we don't talk about that...

Frankie:  Me and you are the only ones who are planning the entire 90 days!

I don't know about that.  One person developing to be quite the Sneaky Bastard is Hayden Voss.

Yesterday I watched Hayden approach Victoria in the bathroom and he whispered that he was going to save her with the PoV, but she couldn't tell anyone.  They had a big hug and then he walked off.  So she knows..

And I heard Hayden spill his guts to Nicole in the wee hours of the morning.   He told her that he heard a version of Zach's nomination speech beforehand, but he couldn't tell Nicole about it.  She was hurt, but fascinated as Hayden filled her in on all of the gaming he's been involved in.

He also tried to sell Nicole on working with Donny, and potentially even replacing Christine with Donny in their alliance with Cody.  He told Nicole that Donny doesn't trust Derrick, and suspects that he and Frankie are the masterminds of this house.

(I've heard Hayden try to plant seeds of doubt about Christine with Nicole before...for example a few weeks ago he mentioned how Christine acted so worried about being nominated the first two weeks of the game.  Then they found out later that she was in the Bomb Squad, and knew she was safe, but still acted like she was at risk with them.  It was a good point, I have to say.)

Hayden:  I told Donny he is absolutely correct about Derrick and Frankie, but he can't say certain things to people about it.  I basically tell Donny what to say, and what not to say...

(Does Hayden know how close Cody is to Derrick?  If he doesn't, he may be very sorry.)

Also, here is a picture of Henry the Plastic Crab.  Henry was displayed with the Have Not foods this week and Zach wondered if they could keep him, if he could take him home.

Zach:  Is that selfish?

They put Henry behind the staircase, in some sort of habitat.  Maybe Zach is hoping everyone else will forget about Henry, so he can adopt him later.

In case you are wondering, here are the three "channels" that the HoH can view on the Spy Screen.  Big Brother introduced this concept in either the 3rd or 4th season, and didn't tell the HoH about it. They just had to figure it out. In the early days, the HoH could only watch the Spy Screen for up to 30 minutes each day, but they dropped that rule years ago.
