Ian Terry ...tick tock, tick tock....

Ian is keeping his name out there, and the clock is still ticking on his fifteen minutes.  He made an appearance recently on the local Pittsburgh CBS morning news to discuss his time on BB14 with the morning co-hosts.  I don't think either one of the show hosts knew anything about Big Brother, from the sound of their questions, which Ian answered patiently, of course.

Ian was very calm and quite impressive during this appearance.  I'm sure the folks watching back home got the impression that he is a nice young man.  Here are some still pictures of his appearance.

While Ian was speaking, the station did him dirty by showing this picture on screen, too.  They also discussed Ashley and the TV host asked Ian if he got her phone number.

Hopefully Ian can afford better hairstyles now, with the $504,000 total prize money he received from the show.  ($500,000 grand prize + $3,000 Mike Boogie gift + $1,000 Pandora's Box prize).  I guess Ian's parents had to drive him to the TV station, because he still doesn't have his driver's license yet.  You can watch the video at this link.

Ian took this semester off from school, and is planning to head back to Tulane in January to get his degree back on track.  In the meantime, he's had plenty of time on his hands to watch his BB14 season, and apparently the live feeds from BB14, too.  Here are just a few of the places where Ian has popped up on my computer screen in the last few months.

1.  Rob Cesternino's weekly Survivor podcasts.

Rob Cesternino (Survivor Amazon and All Stars) has a popular website focusing on reality TV and also records several podcasts each week to cover all of the action.  One of his most popular shows is the weekly Survivor Know It All podcast that Rob usually tapes right after the Wednesday night Survivor show.  Ian has been calling into the show every week with his comments about the players and the game.

To Ian's credit, he takes notes and backs up his points and opinions with facts.  He is a big Survivor fan and knows the game very well.  He has a big crush on RC Saint-Amour, a player who was evicted early in the game.  Ian is planning on attending the live Survivor finale on CBS and at one point stated he had a date with RC after the show.  Somehow I doubt that, but I guess anything is possible.
You can download Rob's podcasts here on his website, and also on iTunes.  I always listen to podcasts when I work out, walk my dog, or do housework, but if you live stream Rob's podcast you might get to see Ian on screen when he calls in.  I'm not sure about that, though, but it's worth a try if you are a fan.

2.  Survivor Sucks Website.

On the live feeds, Ian talked about his love for the Survivor Sucks website, and disclosed that he posts there under the name "Flipbox".  He is still using that name, and has been an active poster on the Big Brother threads.  They even have a special thread just for him to use in his discussions about the show.

This website is kind of rough, though, so beware.  The posters take no prisoners and don't pull any punches.  Be careful if you are a Survivor fan, too, if you don't want to see any spoilers.  I already know WAY TOO MUCH about the current Survivor season, and also next season, which has already been taped.

3.  Other Dark Places.

I also heard Ian talk about "4chan" with Dan on the live feeds this year.  I don't have the time to delve into whatever mess that is, but on one of the Survivor Sucks threads about Ian, there was a link to some sort of chat that he participated in that appears to be a 4chan site.  It kind of looks like an underground Reddit board, if that makes sense.

Ian uses the name John Blaze on this thread, and argues about the size of his penis with several of the other posters.

Yes, you read that correctly.  I'm not going to post a link to that, but I'm sure you can find it yourself if you are motivated enough.  Don't say I didn't warn you.
