Twitter Roundup #BB14

I have a long list of things I need to do today, but somehow I get on Twitter and time just flies.  Here are notable Twitter updates for all of you BB SuperFans who are missing your favorite houseguests.

I didn't want to follow Ashley on Twitter, but I gave in so I could get her Frank updates.  Turns out she is a great Tweeter and I am really enjoying it.  Thanks Ashley for the positive vibes!

Frank even wore a collared shirt for this date night with Ashley and Mike.  Hey Frank, take your hat off!  Mike Boogie did!

 Different occasion, different black dress.

Ashley had access to crayons in the Jury House, and made a list of things to do with her mother when she came to visit.  That's a good list, but I would also add the Getty Museum in Malibu.  You have to ride a tram to get up there---I was so scared on that thing, but the museum at the top of the mountain is incredible.  Lots of garden space and views.

I wonder if Mrs. Iocco will hang this on the refrigerator.

I hope Ashley wins her lawsuit.  She better put that on her dream board.

Dan's wife Chelsea made him an HoH basket for his return to Michigan.  That's a cute idea.  But she should make her husband fresh guacamole, not the packaged stuff.

I don't follow Kara Monaco, but I found the following pictures of her and Adam Poch (BB13).  I guess she visited NYC in her new role as the St. Pauli Girl.  Supposedly Kara likes the rock and roll types.

Jenn had a big Welcome Home party in Brooklyn last night at a local bar.  Here she is with her cake.  Pretty awesome, huh?

And now, back to Frank.  These are a little out of order, but I'll try to put them in context.  Frank flew home to Memphis late Friday, with a layover in the Dallas airport..

He went out with his buddies on Saturday night, going to downtown Memphis.  You know you can catch a good buzz at a place called Silky O'Sullivans.

This picture is an instant classic.

Frank is visiting Seattle next week with Dan and Ian for a chat.  They picked the three most popular BB14 house guests to visit the SuperPass offices for a live chat.  That is scheduled to happen this Thursday and I will recap that.  I think that is my last day with SuperPass access, so PREESH to Real Networks for the timing on that.

Frank told his buddy Chris that he couldn't drink in the Dallas airport because he was going to see Nana later that night.  I guess that Nana doesn't put up with any crap.

Frank's little brother tweeted this picture of the two of them as kids.  Cute.

And Frank obviously tweeted this before he met up with Mike Boogie.  And Memphis and Ashley, of course.

And finally, Shane has been MIA from Twitter, other than a quick tweet to say he'd try to come back later.  He and Danielle are supposed to do a Blog Talk Radio chat on Tuesday, apparently.  There are some "Shanielle" fans out there that think Dani is flying to Vermont for the occasion.  Blog Talk Radio is just a call in show, so I don't think they need to be in the same room for that.

I think Shane should tell her the truth before she starts buying plane tickets.

Evel Dick Remembers the Good Times #BB14

Other than winning Big Brother 8, Evel Dick is also known for being Keith Richard's "double" on the Pirates of the Caribbean movie. He was reminiscing about this yesterday and posted some pictures.  I think the filming of the movie happened the year before Dick was cast for Big Brother.

What is different about Dick back then?  Maybe he was carrying a few extra pounds?  Maybe we're not used to seeing him happy?

Interesting how they film in front of a screen so they can add a computer-generated ocean scenes behind them.
It sounds like Keith didn't go to rehearsal, so Dick "ran his lines" for him.  He's Keith fucking Richards---he doesn't do need to rehearse, I guess.

SuperPass Finale Interviews - Britney Haynes #BB14

I am trying to watch BB14 SuperPass content that I haven't watched yet, before my subscription ends next week.

I watched some of the interviews live after the Finale, but missed quite a few since I needed to go to bed on the East Coast.

Britney is so happy that Ian won that she thought "her heart would explode".  She says he played such a good game, had such a good attitude, and really deserved it.  She is very proud of him.

Spicy mentions their friendship and wonders why they bonded so well.  Britney says he reminded her of her own little brother, he's a good person, and she "just loves him to pieces".  She was very protective of him and wanted him to be comfortable and not get upset.  He was one of the few people that she felt she had a good connection with.

I don't know if you can tell, but some smoke started billowing out behind them and they paused for a moment to comment on it.

She says Dan played an amazing game this season and he did what he had to do to get from week to the other.  They weren't all able to do that and all of his lies don't get to her like some of the other players.

Britney:  It's a game.  And if he has to check his morals at the door, it doesn't really offend kind of wows me, that he's bringing that to the table.  He masterminded the entire season and I was impressed by his game play.  I don't have the ability to swear on the Bible like he does, but that is his game, and it was amazing.

Spicy blames this next question on Missy, and says they heard about her rapping in the morning---would she do some for them?  Britney admits that she can do some hard core rapping, but she has to have really loud music and can't do it now.  (She also raps along with Eminem, and Spicy should know that they can't play that or quote his lyrics without a financial penalty.)

Spicy brings up Danielle...they seemed to have a good relationship in the house...what do you think of her game play after you left?

Britney:  I think her gameplay pretty much sucked.  She just did whatever Dan told her to do from one minute to the next.  She rarely made decisions for herself.  Left to her own devices, she would never have gone as far as she did in the game.

Spicy brings up the reset button.  Britney admits "she pushed it" and then we hear Joe being loud across the yard and they both "shush" him.  It made sense for her to push the button, since she only had one player left in the house. She could team up with Shane and then bring in other people to work with---she had to do it.

If she has one regret, she would have kept Janelle over Frank, because Janelle would have never targeted her but she had to do what was best for the team.  Spicy asks about Britney "kicking Ted's ass" and Britney admits it felt good.  She knew that she was leaving the house, and needed to release some tension.

(From the FeedWatcher archives, you can see that moment here.)

Spicy mentions Britney's hilarious DR session and tells Britney some fans think they are totally scripted.  Britney denies that---it is completely false, she says.  When they have an opinion to express, it is completely their own words.  When they have to describe the backyard during a competition, it is not their idea to talk about that, but the other opinions and words all belong to them.

Britney:  There's not even a person to look at in are just sitting on a couch looking at a camera so it is definitely not scripted.

Spicy asks who she would have picked on her team if she had a week to get to know everybody first.  Britney thinks that is a good question, but it depends on who the other coaches were picking.  If she could have picked her Dream Team, she would have picked Frank, Shane and Ian.

Spicy asks how happy she was to see Frank walk into the Jury house.  Britney claims they only fought one time in the Jury house and they got along just fine after that.  They did argue over Dan, but she says he is a great guy and a great player.  No hard feelings on her end, but she admits that she needs to watch the show.  Spicy should get back to her on that.

She is so excited to see her husband and can't wait to go home with him.

SuperPass Finale Backyard Interviews - Dan Gheesling #BB14

I am trying to watch BB14 SuperPass content that I haven't watched yet, before my subscription ends next week.

I watched some of the interviews live after the Finale, but missed quite a few since I needed to go to bed on the East Coast.

Dan basically does the same blah blah blah about how he "couldn't be the nice guy again this just wouldn't work for him."  Being compared to Dr. Will is the ultimate compliment for him, since "Dr. Will was his favorite player growing up".  He got to play against Dr. Will's best friend, but it wasn't the same as playing against Dr. Will.

Spicy jokes she's getting misted by Dan because he is so charming.  He returns the compliment.

Spicy says people thought Dan played a dirty game---is there such a thing in Big Brother?  Dan turns the question back around on her, saying "you tell me".  He can't win 18 competitions in a row, and he doesn't think the new players signed an "anti-backstabbing" oath.

Part of him wanted to win again, to be the best, but he came up a little short.  The money would have been life-changing to win again for his family.

Spicy compliments Chelsea, Dan's wife and he says that she is indeed a very special girl.  When he came out of the house he approached her and just wanted to know that she is okay.  He knows he put her through a lot, and the fans can be rough.  He gets a plug in for her charity.

Spicy asks why Dan let Shane stay in the house for so long?  One of Dan's regrets was not taking him out the first time he could have, during the live show.  He wasn't going to make that mistake twice.  Spicy brings up the Funeral and he says it was surprising how much chaos that created.  Dan had that whole 24 hours to work on a plan.  When he came out of isolation he pretended to be checked out of the game and that was all part of his plan to disarm people.

Spicy wonders if Dan is planning a career in acting or politics.  Dan laughs and says he has no acting plans, but if "Mitt Romney needs some help with his speech, he can call him".  Dan says the players this season could "kill the other seasons", and mentions having two tough competitors like Frank and Shane in one season.  He also names Ian as a competitor, and feels fortunate to get as far as he did in such a tough competitive environment.

Dan gives a shout out to the "real player fans" and says he may have shocked some of us, but he'd like to hear from us.  He's still the same guy.

Spicy:  Did you know the audience cheered when Shane called you a dirty player?

Dan didn't hear that, but he did hear the "Satan" comment and thought it was funny.  He says we can't all "be Ians" but he was that way in his first season.

Dan can't believe that some people think Ian is a villain.  Dan says they "have to keep him out of Hollywood".  Dan says he is not hurt by the finale and what people said.  He will talk to anyone who wants to talk to him, naming Shane and Frank.  He thinks some of them will need some help coping with the whole experience.  He credits people who helped him (Mike Boogie) and says he reached out to Jordan after she won to return the favor.

Spicy:  Why Jodi?  Why did you pick Jodi?

Dan:  I didn't pick Jodi..

Spicy:  No, why did you pick her to leave?

Dan:  Well, I asked Kara and Danielle outside who she wanted to go to battle with, and they both named each other.

Dan mentions all of the chaos Jodi created during her short time in the house, and that they talked about it every day.  He's glad she wasn't around to continue that, but then adds that "he needs to reconnect with her sometime".

(Jodi called out Jenn as a lesbian to the entire group before she had a chance to do it herself, accused Danielle of having fake teeth, Frank of being independently wealthy, etc etc etc)

Spicy asks what he will miss in the BB14 house.  Dan says the situation is different this year, since he's married, but he will miss little things like hanging out in the pool with Ian.

Dan:  I'm not gonna lie...last time I didn't want to leave the house, and this time I couldn't wait to get out of there.

Spicy:  Who are you going to keep in touch with, and are there any hard feelings?

Dan:  No, not on my end.  I'll definitely keep in touch with the Quack Pack, as long as Shane doesn't try to kill, no hard feelings on my end.   If there is anything I can do for them, or if I can help anybody get on Big Brother please reach out and let me know.

He has a lot to make up for with Chelsea after leaving her for 75 days and wants to go home and spend "every waking moment" with her.  He wants to get back to normal life and maybe write another book.  As the interview ends Dan quotes Justin Beiber, saying "he'll never say never" about appearing on the show again, but it's hard to think about that now.

(No questions about Crazy Danielle?  Or telling Shane on his say out that Danielle was playing him?  Hmmm.)
