Jeff and Jordan are Going to Do Something in America

This is the time of year for previous Big Brother house guests come out of the proverbial woodwork to promote their outside projects.  Most Big Brother fans know that Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd (of JeJo fame) have been filming some sort of series for CBSi.  In conjunction with this new show, they will be doing some sort of live Facebook chat on Wednesday, June 27th.  You can sign up for the event here.

Here are my comments about this topic:

1.  I am one of only a handful of human beings who have never had a Facebook account.  And I never will, either.  So I guess that means that I won't be tuning into this live chat.

2.  In the past, I have watched several live SuperPass events where Jeff and Jordan appear for interviews and questions from the audience.  The questions are always just about what you would expect.  And the answers are always just about the same.  So, I guess you didn't learn too much about it, huh?  ***Exactly***

3.  I can't say that I like the above pose.  Doesn't it look kind of, well, strange?  And unflattering?  Not sure what sort of look they were going for here.  Maybe Jeff and Jordan are going to Do the Kama Sutra in America.  (Just kidding...don't get upset with me JeJo fans..)

4.  Apparently, when Jeff and Jordan were Doing whatever they are going to Do in America, he tore one of his bicep muscles.  Ouch.  That just sounds like one of those painful injuries that your body will never let you forget about.  So, I guess you could take that to mean that whatever Jeff and Jordan Do is somewhat active, and potentially dangerous.

5.  I saw a live interview with Rachel Reilly and Brendon Villegas on Monday night, and when asked for information about Jeff and Jordan, Rachel carefully said the following:

             a.  Jeff and Jordan moved out to California, which is "going to be fun".  (Brenchal lives there, too.)
             b.  Rachel isn't allowed to talk about the show, or what they will be doing for the show.

6.  I found some pictures online of Jeff and Jordan shopping for furniture for their apartment, and posing for pictures with some guy from the furniture store.  Some fans think they received a discount from the store, or would be doing a commercial for them.  My guess is that they got it all FREE in association with their new show.  (Anybody see that show Rob and Amber Against All Odds?  Do you think Amber really paid for all of that furniture?)  Here are the pictures---Jordan certainly looks happy.  But it looks like a furnished corporate apartment.  I'm not saying that's bad, I'm just saying it has that look of a Fake Home Away From Home.  I mean, do you see any personal items in there?

7.  I was guessing that this show would end in CBS sponsoring their wedding, or something along those lines.  But that is just me guessing.  I have to think that the timing of all of this neatly ties in with the upcoming BB14 season, doesn't it?  I can't imagine that CBS wouldn't try to leverage their popularity with the BB fans in some way. summary, what have we learned?

I guess more will be revealed on the June 28th.

PS  Last year in the early weeks of BB13, I watched one of Evel Dick's podcasts about Big Brother.  Obviously he had already left the show at that time.  He said then that Jeff and Jordan would be moving to California together, so I think this deal has been cooking for a long time....

Rachel Joins the Real Network Line Up

The Big Brother 14 SuperPass program is lining up their entertainment options for this summer.  They have announced that the live call-in show Rumor Control will return this year, with shows currently scheduled for Jun 28th and July 3rd.  I'm guessing they will add at least one more show, since the CBS season premiere isn't until July 12th.

This year's hosts will be Dani Donato and Rachel Reilly.  I don't have to tell you that this combo spells drama.  Dani also hosted this show last year, with Ragan Fox.  Ragan and Dani were friendly with each other, but as we all know there is some Bad Blood between Dani and Rachel.

Rumor Control is typically scheduled to coincide with the release of official information regarding this year's show.  For example, last year the broadcasts followed the release of pictures of the BB13 house, and then again after the cast was announced.  And by "cast", of course I mean last year's newbies.  Because Dani's Rumor Control hosting duties clearly didn't get in the way of being cast as one of the BB13 returning duos.

In the past, SuperPass tapes these live shows and makes them available for viewing by subscribers at any time.   The SuperPass Early Bird Special Offer kicked off this week --you can get 25% of the regular price of the BB14 live feeds if you order before July 12th.  There are some new features this year, including the following:

*  This year you can rewind the live feeds and pause, just like a DVR.
*  There is a new "One Click Screen Grab" system.  I don't know what that means, exactly, but I'm guessing you can grab screens with one click.
*  You can view the live feeds on a mobile device at no extra charge.

You can get started with SuperPass by clicking on the order icon in the upper left corner of the website.

If you don't want to commit to the live feeds, trust that I will be covering the action here on this website.  You can subscribe to my twitter account (somewhere in the column to the left) to receive links to all BB14 posts.

For your infotainment, I have posted the links below to my coverage of Rumor Control last year.  Last year Dani was a snotty brat (in my opinion) on Rumor Control, but maybe the stress of appearing on the show with her dad Evel Dick was impacting her attitude.  Note that Dani was replaced by her Good Friend Annie (BB13) on the 3rd episode, since she was sequestered by then, or maybe even inside the house already.  They didn't say that, of course, but tiptoed around it as much as they could.

I'm sure Dani will be much more pleasant working alongside Rachel Reilly.  Ha ha ha.
