Happy Hour With Missy (hee hee hee)

I think that Alison Grodner Productions is seriously fucking with us.

I just listened to the June 30th broadcast of Happy Hour on SuperPass--Chelsia wasn't there, so Missy held the stage.  BB4 winner Jun Song was the guest, appearing live at midnight from her bedroom in Belgium.  Jun was a good guest because she tried to say something interesting about each houseguest.  She was also prepared, and had to correct Missy's botched pronunciation of several of the houseguest names, including Cassi ("Casey" per Missy.), Lawon ("Lawson" per Missy.) and Kalia ("Kallie" per Missy.)

Missy said she hadn't had time to "go through everything".  Maybe Missy has dyslexia.  Just sayin'...

Anyway the phones were abuzz with callers trying to determine who the Dynamic Duos are.  Some of the callers pointed out that at least one person from every Dynamic Duo posted on the CBS website has been tweeting in the past week.  I have noted that myself, and was particularly heartbroken to see that Evel Dick tweeted yesterday.

But Missy busted out some information that, while totally obvious, had unfortunately not occurred to me.  Missy said that it is entirely possible that the Dynamic Duos had surrendered their Tweeting capabilities to someone in Production since they are probably in sequester right now.

So...she recommended that we analyze their tweets to see if they sound like they were written by the real people, or someone else.  I'm not going to do that, but I will read evidence that someone else digs up.

(Basically I am saying Who the Hell Knows about the Dynamic Duos at this point.  I don't want to be heartbroken if they suck, and I am looking forward to that moment on Thursday night when we learn the truth.  I'm sure there will be at least one big shocker for us....hopefully a good shock.)

Jun pointed out that there is so much that Production can do with the Dynamic Duos theme---they can bring in one of them at a time and they have to do a tag-team-type transition into the house.  She also thinks the hard core fans who have been cast this year (i.e. Adam Poch, Shelly Moore) will have a hard time being starstruck by the big characters who could potentially be in the house this year.  They also discussed the rumor that there would be a single previous House Guest who would come in and "crash the party".

She thinks Dick will chew up and spit out Kalia, and that Adam would be no match for him.

Michelle from BB10 called in (is that right?  the Portuguese Princess girl?) and said she heard that there were Dynamic Duos under consideration who are not posted on the CBS website.  I think the former houseguests are the best promotion for the new season at this point.  The ones who were obviously not asked to come back in certainly have a lot to say about it.  Jun admitted that she wished it were her.

I also watched/listened to the first episode of Live From the Gremlin Cave, which is a new show hosted by Matt Hoffman on RTVZone.com.  Matt's co-hosts for the season are going to be Lydia Taveras, Ronnie Talbot, and Annie Whittington.  Howie Gordon was a special guest on the first episode.

There were some technical difficulties with the show that made watching it a challenge at times, but the commentary was very 'spirited' and interesting.  They went through each houseguest and basically ripped them apart.  Matt started with Shelly Moore, saying he hated her the most based on her answers to the canned questions.  The other houseguests fared about the same---everybody hated on all of them except Howie, who was busy eating some sort of meal and commented on "boobies" whenever prompted to do so by Matt.

Lydia kept calling Kalia the "Fat Chyma", which is an example of the low blows they are going to take on this show.  I'm sure Lydia will be kissing Kalia's ass after she is either evicted or wins to appear on her fucking PopTalk show, so she may need to eat those words.

Don't get me wrong, it was entertaining and I will probably watch a few more episodes to see what happens, but I certainly don't feel badly about the smack I talk about the houseguests now.   I know it is too early to tell anything about anybody, just from those stiff and repetitive Q and A sessions, so I try to wait until we really have the chance to observe and listen before I do some hardcore judging.

For example, I feel I've earned the right to detest Ragan.

If I was a previous cast member, I might be just as harsh from the get go.  It is interesting to note that all of Matt's guests, including himself, were losers in the game, including Howie who is a two-time loser.   Annie was the first one to go on her season!  Ronnie didn't even make the jury!  Matt got totally blindsided by his own alliance!

Jun was much more gracious and diplomatic, and she won her season.  Just sayin'.  I must add that if the worst happens and Jessie and Natalie are included in the BB13 cast, I will tune in just to hear what Lydia has to say about that.  At that point I would only hope that Jessie starts banging somebody on camera and Lydia has to relive her shame and horror over hitting that nasty piece of work.  And CRYING about him, too, as Howie pointed out.  (Every now and then Howie has a lucid moment.)

I watched both shows using Internet Explorer so I couldn't take pictures.  (I usually use Firefox.)  I wish you could see Lydia's make-up, which included blacking out half of her face and holding up a stuffed unicorn the entire time.

I know both Ronnie and Matt love the game, so I expect to get some insightful play-by-play there.
