Update on Britney & Nick's House

Here is the link to this updated story about the damage to Britney and Nick's rental home.  I hope they have security there this weekend, because the general address has been posted online, and it is common knowledge that no one will be home all weekend.  And she's a celebrity now, so there's that.

Per the story at the link, BB producers will not tell Britney about it.  So...sometime between the end of the show and the beginning of the backyard interviews, Britney is going to get some bad news.....

From Nick's point of view, he already had enough pressure and stress going into tonight--this is the last thing he needs.  Particularly since it sounds like the fire started from the backyard grill.  He's got to deal with her mom on this issue, too.  Can you imagine the dread he must feel?

(If it's any consolation for Nick, the BB fans are not so in love with Lane anymore, based on his recent comments about animal cruelty, and how fun near-rape can be.  So the people who were rooting on a Britney-Lane connection are dropping like flies.)

This adds a layer of sadness to the finale for me.  Not just that one of the winners will be Hayden, Lane, or Enzo (probably Hayden), but that we will all be watching and hating the thought of her finding out about this.

I can't believe that CBS would give up the ability to talk about this tragedy tonight.  Maybe Julie will mention it before the Jury comes out.  I hope no one in the audience calls out anything to her about it.

If she didn't win the $25K, I am hoping CBS does something else for her instead.

Live Feeds of BB12 Are Over...

I'm not crying about it...are you?  I am looking forward to the finale tonight and will be covering all of the backyard interviews here on the blog.  I will also post links to other interviews of the HG when I find good ones.

And I just might have access to a few pictures this weekend of the cast and their families out partying when it's all over.......

Now THAT is exciting!

Hollywood Hayden Gets Some Publicity

but I don't think it's the kind of publicity he wants.....this article is pretty harsh.

Hayden better watch his back for the next few months, and refrain from any sort of public displays of douchery.  Once Nik from The Dirty doesn't like you, things get kind of ugly.  (Just ask Gretchen Rossi....)

Allison Grodner Speaks

during an interview with Reality Blurred, that is.  Here is the link to the article. It's a pretty good article, and I love how Allison makes fun of the HG, particularly Rachel, Brendon, and Matt.

Message from Nick About the Fire

I found this on Jokers--I guess Nick logged in and left this message earlier today.  I'm so glad her dogs are okay.....I wonder if BB will tell her about this, or just wait until after the finale.

The fire started at around 1:30 am CST and I awoke at around 2 am to the crackling sound (which I thought was hail). I went back to bed for a few minutes and heard a window break. At this time, I knew something was wrong. I walked in the hallway and saw the flames and smoke coming from the bathroom window. I then ran and grabbed my bags that I had packed for today's trip to LA and headed outside. Both dogs were still inside at the time. I found Molly (Brit's dog) first and through her in the front yard. There were several people outside at the time yelling at me to not go back inside. I then went back in to find Porter and at this time, the dark smoke was about head high. After about 3 minutes of searching with a flashlight, I found Porter hid in a corner behind a chair. We all made it out okay fortunately.

After about an hours worth of extinguishing, everything was under control and the damage was done. I was then allowed to go inside to check out the damage. The screened in porch on the back of the house was completely gone, one of the back bedrooms was completely black with fire and smoke damage, and the bathroom and other bedroom were damaged pretty badly as well. The entire attic was on fire as well. With it being an old house, it was not very "fire friendly".

I then spent the next 4 hours with my parents and my best friends getting our belongings that were salvageable out of the house. Most everything was drenched in water. Britney's dad and step-mom also made the 3 hour drive down to help with this tragedy which was very thoughtful. After a final inspection, I'd say that about 50% of our belongings were lost.

I now know that belongings that may have been lost are no where near as important as a life or the life of a pet. Things can be replaced, lives cannot. I was told multiple times that I was very lucky to make it out okay since the fire was so strong and that I was alseep at the time. Also, the smoke detector did not ever go off. Good thing I changed the batteries in that thing a couple weeks back, eh?

I am still planning on flying out to LA today at Noon. I will be low on energy and emotionally drained, but it something I cannot miss. I have the support of Britney's parents and my family to go on and that things will be taken care of when I return. We are blessed to have such supportive friends and famiily.

Please just continue to keep us in your prayers. Things happen for a reason and I know that only good will come out of this mess. I am going to do my best to go enjoy my time in LA and San Diego with my Brit now!

Thanks again all.

OMG. Britney's House Burned Down?

TMZ is reporting that Britney's home was on fire--not sure if this is her family's home, or the home she rents with Nick.  Here is the link to the Breaking News.

Poor Brit...I hope everything will be okay.

***UPDATE ****
Apparently this happened at the home she lives in with Nick.  Nick moved everything in over the summer while Brit was in the BB house.  I heard her "talk" to Nick and tell him to get the Renter's Insurance--I hope he listened and sent in that check.  Otherwise Britney's belongings may be up in smoke with no insurance coverage.

How upsetting...... here is the link to local news coverage and pictures.  I think the fire was pretty bad.  Is Nick not going to the finale?  Maybe he was leaving today?  WTF Nick?

California Chatter

Enzo:  Yo, the weather out here, and the's unbelievable.
Apparently a big leaf flew by and they were scared by it.

Enzo:  That was a leaf that knew how to fly...that shit was crazy.

Enzo found some smelly socks under the couch but wouldn't put them on.  Someone says they made a Gremlin Cave out there.  I guess that is a microphone on the far right of the picture, but I've never noticed that before.  I think they have to mic up the backyard differently for the interviews afterwards.

Hayden Saws Away

at his choppers.  He is really going to town with that toothbrush.
Lane was in the background talking some smack about the Last Day but left the room.

Hayden spits. Ha ha.  I had to wait with my finger on the button to catch this one.

It's early for these guys to be up---around 8:30 am BBT.  Hayden went outside and got under the covers on the backyard couch.  I think they are getting ready for an outdoor lockdown.

Here comes Enzo, wrapped up in his blankie.
He is mumbling to himself about "ca ca" and smacking some sort of food.  He looks like batman with the blanket on.  Enzo doesn't seem to be in a great mood this morning.
Enzo goes outside and starts bitching about being woken up early, along with more smacking and slurping.  Lane is out there, too, snuggled up to fight off the California chill.
Someone starts rapping and Lane says to "play some of that gangsta shit".

It's Official....

today is the last day!
