BoB Aftermath - Nicole is a Frog This Week #BB16

The game was called Abracadabra, or something like that, and Frankie swore that the backdrop was the Hogwarts set.  Donny and Amber won the competition, and as a result the HoH who nominated them (Nicole) has to wear a frog suit this week.

This is the best picture I could get at this point, and that headpiece looks like a real bitch. The legs of the frog suit are loose, like trousers.  I heard Nicole say she wishes the legs were cute tights.  Amber asked her if she was allowed to bedazzle it.

(Where is she supposed to get the bedazzle supplies Amber?)

Nicole had a good attitude about it, but said she hoped she wouldn't be evicted wearing the costume.   Amber says she hopes she gets to wear a costume like that while she's in the house.

Sure you do Amber, sure you do.

FYI  On BBAD last night, Christine, Victoria and Nicole sat in the HoH room and ripped Amber to shreds.  Victoria hates her, and was pounding her hand in her fist telling them how Amber just helps herself to Victoria's make up bag items.  She mentions some sort of spray product (maybe perfume, but I don't think so) that is almost gone, but Amber keeps using it anyway.

Nicole:  I have to tell you...yesterday after you left the room Amber sprayed it into the air twice.  I don't like her, so I'm going to tell you.

Victoria was livid...

OK.

After the competition, Derrick, Cody and Caleb rehashed everything in the HoH suite.  It sounded like Amber and Donny were communicating very well during the competition, and it looked like they could win it.

Apparently it was a puzzle they had to solve, and they had to hold something heavy up on ropes.  (I heard Amber say her legs were so sore she could hardly stand.)   They said Jocosta had her back to the puzzle most of the time, blocking Caleb's view and her back hit it and knocked a bunch of pieces off the board.

Derrick:  She had a bad week...she was dehydrated up there..it wasn't something she could do.

Donny has apparently been telling everyone that Caleb was going to throw the competition, so Derrick hopes what happened today demonstrates that it wasn't Caleb's fault.  Caleb is rather pouty and Derrick says he'd be mad if he lost, too.

Look at Caleb, laying waste to a whole bag of Sun Chips.  He's shoving them in his pie hole two and three at a time.  I doubt he is even tasting them---he's just eating emotionally.  Looks like the Nacho Cheese flavor, too.  Yum.

It's a man's world...I saw Caleb eat a whole bag of chips on Wednesday, too.  It's just not fair how that happens.

They decided that if there is a House Guest's choice for the PoV, they should choose Hayden, because he's a beast.  Derrick said they weren't supposed to talk during the competition today, but Devin came over to him and announced that he figured out the second part of Derrick's little plan this week ---he thought they wanted to take Donny off the block and put Devin up against Amber.

Cody:  He's losing it.  That kid is losing it.

Cody said Devin was a moron, and then they talked about Nicole.

Derrick:  She's no joke, man.  Did you hear her?  She told Devin that he was her target...

Derrick hopes that when they walk in the backyard this Thursday for the HoH, that he sees "The Wall", because he knows that no one can hold on as long as Cody and Caleb.

Caleb:  Or Hayden...he's a beast.  If it's just the three of us, I'll jump off.  Because being HoH is only fun for the first 10 minutes...you get your letter and your basket and then all hell breaks loose..

Derrick:  To be honest, it's not how I thought it would be.

Caleb left and the second he left the room Derrick locked the door and said they can really talk now.  Derrick said that this was something he wasn't going to talk about with anybody but Cody.

(Really Derrick?  Again with that nonsense?)

He said that if Devin couldn't go on the block, the target would be Caleb.

(But if Devin wins the PoV, he can save Caleb....and wouldn't that turn things upside down?  Caleb and Devin would have about a day and a half between the PoV competition and the ceremony to work that out...and if they don't think of it, surely the DR will...)

Cody really wants Caleb out, and thinks he should be the target.  They agree that Caleb's head isn't in the game because he's all about Amber.

Derrick is worried about Caleb coming upstairs too much this week because he already nominated him and it might look really funny.  He wants Cody to come up if he sees Caleb up there because people don't think Caleb and Cody are very close.  Cody agrees.

Victoria came up and still has glitter on from the competition.

Derrick told Cody that as his paisan, he wanted to choose him to host the PoV if he wasn't chosen to play, but Devin already came up and asked him as a special favor to let him host the competition as his last hurrah.

Victoria says he is so ridiculous.  Cody thinks Devin might be trying to use reverse psychology on him.

Derrick:  No, I think he just wants to make amends..he knows he's getting clowned...

Cody:  He told me that he would go out with class...like how else would you go out?  What's he gonna do, tear the house down?  I guess he could, because he's the Hulk.

OK.  Here's a better look at Nicole, sitting on the couch talking to Donny.

Nicole:  I said, do I have to wear this for a whole week?  And they said Yep.  I don't think I can sleep with this thing on my head.

Donny:  If the room is lit up, you can turn it around and then it'll be dark.

Nicole:  That's true.

Nicole: And every minute on TV this week I'll be wearing it, and when I vote on Thursday..

Donny:  Better smile and blow America a kiss!

Nicole:  Oh geez!

Donny:  We could play leap frog!

Nicole:  Maybe outside...

Hard Choices Lead to Hard Conversations #BB16

You may know by now that the following nominations are fresh out of the Big Brother oven:

Nicole:  Donny & Amber
Derrick:  Jocosta & Caleb

I'm very surprised by at least two of these nominees.  I had an appointment this afternoon so I didn't get to watch the action leading up to the nominations, but I'm sure I'll catch up on the details soon.  If you have info to share, please spill it for the benefit of all of us.

OK.

Nicole is trapped n the HoH room with Devin, who is going on and on and on about himself.  I think he wanted her to confirm he would be backdoored later this week, if at all possible.    I suspect Devin Shepherd will attempt the coward's way out of the Big Brother house.  I think there is a good chance he will leave on his own, a "D.O.R.", or maybe even be ejected for poor conduct like BB11's Chima Simone or BB14's Russell Willie Hantz.

I say this because last night Devin told Britney he went to read the BB Rule Book to find out how to self-evict.  Either the Rule Book itself, or someone in the DR told him that the entire Production staff and crew really put their hearts into making a good TV show, and quitting the game would be totally disrespectful.  I think that the DR told him this, because a few seconds later BB told Devin to stop talking about Production.

Devin's response was for them to shove it, and I believe he also recommended that they shove the Rule Book, too.  I know there were two shoving requests made by Devin.

And, he was very sassy...actually very rude to Production on Wednesday night as well, refusing to follow direction.  (You can see that here, about halfway down the page the Devin drama starts...)

So blah blah blah Devin droned on and on.  He mentioned that Jocosta was in the HoH bathroom, in her ongoing quest for defecation.  Which she mentions over and over every goddamn time she opens her mouth.  (I'm sure that is uncomfortable, but it is more uncomfortable for the house guests to hear about it over and over.)

Also, there are only two toilets in that house, and fourteen people, so she needs to do the math and poop or get off the pot, to quote a famous saying.

Anyway, Devin wanted to talk about himself.  And the whole show has been about Devin so far...and he has been living it large in the HoH Suite ever since he came in the house.  So the fall to living downstairs, with no power, no alliance, no friends, and probably no food coming up shortly, are going to hit him hard.

He's not a fan of the game, so he doesn't care about it if he's not winning.  He can make his exit about whatever he wants to make it about (hint:  daughter daughter daughter daughter...) but if he leaves before being voted out he will be a poor sport and a weasel.  Without any honor or integrity.  (ha ha ha)

OK.  Enough about him.  Down in The Hive, Amber is talking to Christine and Victoria.  She is trying to put on a brave face, and can't wait to just get the Battle of the Block over with.  She must know having Donny as a partner can't hold a candle to being partners with Caleb.  And now she's competing against Caleb and Jocosta.

Even with Jocosta's plumbing problem, that's a tall order.  (And that was the plan, apparently.)

Amber's a tough girl.  She just needs to get fired up for the big game.  I like this look for her, too.  She's giving us fierce realness.  I hope she doesn't turn into a crybaby. I hate that.

Christine stretches.  After all, it's been a long day.  They've all been awake for about two hours now.  I'm sure Victoria is ecstatic to not be nominated, since her name was being thrown all over the place since the HoH competition.

Christine goes over and gives Victoria a hug on her way out.

Christine:  I hope you enjoyed my bosom!

Victoria:  What?

Christine repeated it, and Victoria said yes, she certainly did.

Oh...Cody was in the room, too, doing his stealth job of keeping tabs on all of the girls.  He even made a sad little speech about how he wished people would talk to him about what is going on in there.

By the end of this thing, Cody's acting might be too good for the soap operas...

After the Team America meeting (You can see that here.) Derrick asked Donny if he had any questions about what happened this morning.

Donny, clearly smarting:  Nope.  No questions.

Derrick:  None at all?  You're good to go?

Derrick said that he knows Donny can recite who got nominated, but he's not sure Donny understands the rationale for why Nicole nominated him, and the overall plan for the week.  Donny was very curt and snappy with Derrick, so Derrick kept him in there, putting his Good Cop skills to work on Donny.

Amber came in, and Derrick pretty much told her to get the hell out.  So she got the hell out of there.

Derrick started by talking about Paola's eviction last night. Derrick says he's not sure keeping Zach was the best option for his game.  He brought up the fact that many in the house think he is still working with Devin, after Devin put the Bomb Squad on blast, so he hopes what happens this week will put those fears to rest.  I don't think he came out and said he would backdoor Devin, but I think that was strongly impled.

Derrick told Donny that the BB Rule Book (the one Devin wanted Production to shove) says that the two HoH's cannot tell each other who they are nominating.  They just can't and it's that simple.  But Nicole told him that putting Donny on the block was a last minute decision that came about after a last minute conversation.  An unnamed person (i.e. Amber) said they heard Donny talking this morning about how the Bomb Squad was still working together, and how the others need to work together.  I don't think Donny admitted this, but I don't think he denied it.

Derrick's having a hard time talking to Donny, who seems to want to withdraw when he's upset, instead of venting. He's giving  Derrick a lot of short answers and "uh huhs" and it doesn't seem like what he really wants to say.  It feels like bad blood, actually.

Derrick says he talked to Jocosta about the nomination beforehand, but Nicole didn't talk to Donny because she didn't plan to put him up until the last minute.

Jocosta came in and had to mention her damn lack of pooping AGAIN. TMI Jocosta, TMI.

Donny brings up that the last time they talked, Derrick said that Team America needed to work together on the nominations each week, but Derrick never even discussed it with him yet.  Derrick acknowledged that was a valid point, and he apologized.

(Donny seems to know that Derrick expected him and Frankie to talk about it if they were HoH, but not the other way around...)

Victoria and Britney came in and got stuff and left.  Donny was working on a crunchy apple, chewing aggressively.  He says people shouldn't expect him to be all bright and happy about being nominated, and Derrick agrees.

That didn't go well...not well at all.  Donny may be in trouble, because he made his frustrations very clear to Derrick.  And I think Derrick would rather have $500,000 than a few $5,000 payments here and there.

Let's face it, Team America would never make it to the end, anyway.  They don't trust each other.

(And the devious feedsters started voting for Donny once he was on the block, because they wanted to screw up the twist by having the second member get evicted like Joey did.  That is the truth...I didn't report it here because I didn't want to encourage that, but it happened.)

Hayden came in, looking like an adult for a change.  I like it.  He agrees with Derrick's decisions, and confirms that he overheard what Donny said this morning.  Derrick was glad that Amber didn't lie about it.

I think Derrick can certainly sense that Donny was up to something.  That's his job, to sense things like that.

#TeamAmerica Meets to Hatch Their Devious Plan #BB16

I guess I thought America would choose the showmance option, since that seemed like something the American Public would be interested in, particularly with all of the choice cuts of meat in that house.  But the option to start a rumor that someone in the house is related to a former house guest is the choice America made.

Good choice, America.  This is a much more dastardly and devious option, because this type of rumor could sink someone's game.  Seriously.

They decided to start a rumor about Zach being Amanda Zuckerman's cousin.  They think this is plausible since they both live in South Florida, and note some personality features that they both have in common...bring brash, moody, etc.

Frankie has a downright EVIL idea, saying that the rumor they should start is that Zach had told Paola about being related to Amanda in the early days of the game, when they were quite flirty with each other.

(I guess we missed THAT before the feeds went live.)

And as Paola left the house last night after being evicted, she whispered this to Donny, so that he could use the information in the game if necessary.

Dastardly, indeed.  And quite believable.  Frankie wanted to be sure the root of the rumor is not related to any of the three of them...Donny simply supposedly heard it from Paola, who supposedly heard it from Zach himself.

Derrick addresses the camera, but unfortunately not the one available to me as a live feeder.  He confirms to America that this is their choice, and they plan to put it into action immediately.

And that, people, is how you make $15,000 in about 10 minutes.  Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

(I have never even said that phrase, much less typed it. But I like it.)

***HERE'S THE THING***

I think this has to hurt Zach's game, right?  Not that being related to Amanda can help him in any way, but it is more likely to hurt Zach.  Amanda was a very polarizing person, and the idea that Zach was lying about this might be all the reason someone needs to put his ass right back in the nomination hot seat.

If I were Zach, I would strike right back by insinuating that there are two other people in the house who are related to a former player...he can say Production told him that or something.  I think saying two is more believable than one...

Since Zach has Dastardly skills, I'm sure he knows how to Reverse the Heat...basically when someone is accusing you of something, you just direct is right back at them or maybe someone else.

This is most commonly used by guilty boyfriends...you bring up something they did wrong and they end up getting you to apologize to them...

And you just know Zach has been down that road before...

At Midnight, The Have Not Feeding Frenzy Began #BB16

As the clock neared midnight, the crowd in the kitchen started yelling for Derrick to come downstairs, interrupting his PowWow with Nicole.  Basically, they are going to work together this week, and Nicole thinks the BB fans will approve.  (We do.)

Derrick gave a shout out to the Feedsters and said it took a while, but the two Feedsters are going to work together, and Nicole called out "Nerds Unite".  They had some weak discussion of a Final Two, maybe down the road once the Jury starts, but I'm guessing both of knew that was utter bullshit.

Anyway, back to the food.  You know I love to talk about their eating habits.  This is one of my favorite things to watch, because they are all so hungry, and so appreciative of every bite.  But like Thanksgiving, after hours and hours of anticipation, the feeding only lasts about five minutes or so.

Let me just state I am very disappointed with the camera angles I had to choose from.  I didn't even get a close up of the food.

***sigh***

They count down, and cheer at the strike of midnight.  All hands in the air!

And I think we need to recognize Victoria here....she did very well this week, and I can't remember hearing her bitch or moan any more than anyone else.  Give that girl a sandwich.

There was apparently a tray of sandwiches that Zach and Brittany prepared.  Derrick said he just wanted a PB &J, because he was worried about throwing up.  There were also quesodillas, which is I think what Zach started on first.

(Would it have KILLED them to give us a camera shot of Zach eating his fucking food?)

Brittany made a peanut butter and jelly on a tortilla for Derrick and he thanked her.  He also had a side of guacamole and chips.

I guess.  I had to go on word of mouth only.  No camera close ups.  I think the crew must change shifts at midnight or something, because they sure weren't working very hard.  They never show this on the CBS show, so maybe that is why no one seemed to care about shooting the scene properly.

So...why are we having to look at this right now?  For the slop bucket?  Because I'm kind of tired of looking at Frankie, to be honest.  You can be creative and have great style and still not look like a moron.  That's all I'm saying, Frankie.

I like this shot, though.  To his credit, Derrick can eat but still speak rather clearly.  He and Zach both made some appreciative noises about how good everything tasted.

Devin is overheard in the background, making it all about himself.  He says he might just go ahead and move into the Have Not room, and announces that he's already sifted some slop powder to prepare for the diet.

(Shut up, Fool.)

And why do we now have to look at this view, with no food in sight?

Amber:  I haven't ate much at all.

(Yes, she's been hanging around Caleb too much....)

And now we're back to looking at this.

Frankie, staring at Zach:  Oh my god...that bite looked amazing...

Finally, another view.  Here we go.

Nicole joins the group and announces "Hayden! I took a poop in the HoH Room!"  Thank god this did not seem to disturb Zach's hearty appetite.

In the background Jocosta starts talking about her constant gastro issues, and Frankie yells "Who wants to poop in my HoH Room?"

On a more pleasant note, Cody came over like a Maitre'D, asking if everyone was enjoying everything.

Derrick says "euphoric" is the best word to describe the feeling.  That's a new word for Cody, unfortunately.

Devin continues to natter on about going in the Have Not room.  Maybe we shouldn't be so harsh on Devin, because he clearly has no clue about how to behave socially.

Nah!  Just kidding.
