California Sunshine #BB15

Judd's feet.  I know that fake grass gets hot in the sunshine.

Nick's hat.  Actually McCrae's hat.  On Gina Marie's head

McCranda half naked, without Amanda on top.  It's a miracle.

Aaryn came outside to work on her tan.  Judd can't sit still for very long.

It seems like Amanda is always having to try to entice McCrae into really loving her.  You know, with all of the sex and aggressive attention.  And while they were laying out there Amanda was telling McCrae that her home in Florida is near the beach, so she painted a little mental image for McCrae of them filling up a cooler with beer and sandwiches, and then spending the day on a big blanket by the shore.

Probably paradise for a Minnesota boy, right?  Then she was whispering about taking a vacation together, to some island.  As usual, McCrae just listens.

She'll still be there if she's evicted this week McCrae.  But then maybe you can get back on track to win this damn show,  and forget about this stupid showmance.  You will get plenty of girls with big jugs when this summer is over.  Just ask Peter Brown from BB Canada.

(He was on Rob Cesternino's podcast and claimed his luck with the ladies changed overnight with his new "confidence", aka "TV time".)

Oh, and you might recall Amanda saying that she quit smoking.  Well, that didn't last long. These pictures are from this morning, when she was learning all about last night's plot to flip the house and vote her out.

The Pre-Jury Evictees Put on Their Party Shoes #BB15

So, we all remember Kaitlin kind of shrugging off the whole Jeremy situation in front of Julie Chen on last week's live show, right?  Personally I think she was preparing for Julie to tell give her more bad news, since Julie basically bitch-slapped Kaitlin with her questions during most of the interview.  I thought it was a self-defense move by Kaitlin in preparation for a potential body blow.

I watched Kaitlin's post-eviction interview with Jeff (recap coming soon) and she tried to apologize to Jeremy, saying that she was very salty at the time after her eviction but she missed him.

Anyway, there have been a few little tweets between Jeremy and Kaitlin since then.  Nothing big.  But communication, nonetheless.

And then, James Rhine inserts himself into this scene.  Apparently James lives in Las Vegas now.  Guess where Kaitlin went after her release?  Yep, Las Vegas.

Kaitlin never even heard of Big Brother before casting approached her when she was bartending in Minnesota.  During casting she watched BB7 and BB12.  Guess who was on BB7?   Yep, James Rhine, an All Star.

And Kaitlin doesn't know anything about the long list of Big Brother Lovelies that James Rhine has "encountered" over the years.  Yep, James gets around.  Cassie Colvin, Dani Donato are just two of the Big Brother ladies James has smooched.  Yep.  James Rhine.

Apparently James picked up Kaitlin for a little road trip to LA, in time to go to a BB viewing party for the CBS show last night.  I was following the tweets and wasn't sure if they were going to arrive at their destination at all, after James posted a picture of the sunset.

Then we saw this.  Great picture, great caption.  I wonder what Jeremy thought about this?  James Rhine is as tall as Jeremy, but he is at least 10 years older and has a few things going on.  I saw him in a McDonald's ad, for Crissakes.

I'm sure James just wants to be "good friends".   Maybe they had to stop and pee or something.  That is a long dusty drive they're taking.

A few flirty tweets from James, a few sparks flying...

But you'll be glad to hear they did arrive at their destination, and I think they did find the bar.  Look who's there...Nick Uhas and Jeff Schroeder.  And some other guy.

Kaitlin in a Rhine-Uhas sandwich.  Talk about some photogenic people..

And the Big Brother Canada people are still lurking around, even though someone probably had to tell Kaitlin who they were.  I think that is Emerald-Topaz back there, and Robyn Kass.

I don't know about you, but I'm kind of ready for the BB Canada people to fade back into the woodwork.

Don't agree with me?  Maybe this will help.  Remember Liza?

And here is Rachel with Emerald, who goes by the name Topaz.  True story.

Liza owns a tanning salon.  That would explain her Oompa Loompa-like tint.

With Big Jeff, who may or may not know that Big Brother now airs a Canada edition.

At least they invited David Girton.  He was tweeting about watching the entire BB Canada season in the past few days.  Maybe he thought there would be a quiz.

Don't hate them yet?  Well, they got to have lunch with Dr. Will and his son Cash.  I hate the way Alec has to mug for every picture like he's at a frat party.

OK.  Enough of that.  So at least we can all agree that Kaitlin has plenty of viable options.  But Jeremy is an artist, so at least he's got that.  This isn't something I would hang over my fireplace, but I kind of like it.  Kind of has an "Abominable Snowman in Hell" type of feel to it.  Good job Jeremy.

The Scramble for the Next Hot House Guest Shirt #BB15

Julie Chen's little comments to Judd last Thursday night about his Bear Shirt have got everybody scrambling to be part of the action.  It is Amanda's turn to wear the Bear Shirt today for the PoV Ceremony, and Judd has already called dibs on it for the Thursday live show, so he can wear it for the HoH Competition.

Judd's shirt is so popular he has to reserve it now.

Helen is trying to make Andy's kitty cat T-shirt happen, but surely we, the American people, won't allow that.  Let's all agree to just ignore this T-shirt and maybe it will go away.

All of Andy's clothes look like they are from Gymboree, but I guess that is part of his quirky charm.

Amanda put on cut off shorts with Judd's shirt as her final ensemble.  Rough night last night for Amanda.  She made a mistake by sharing something with Andy that she wasn't supposed to, and then called McCrae a pussy when he had the nerve to be upset about it.

(She and McCrae know that Judd made up the lie about hearing Kaitlin saying she was targeting Helen while he was in isolation, and they were supposed to keep that a secret.  So now Amanda just fucked over McCrae and Judd, who will both be exposed as liars over it.)

There were many tears and apologies, and then professions of undying love after the game is over.  All from Amanda, of course.

I'm hoping this gave McCrae the chance to realize he is messing up his game with Amanda.  The best thing that could happen is for her to get blindsided and leave this week.   Over the weekend Judd and Helen were saying that McCrae is spending so much time with Amanda, he might lose a few jury votes if he makes it to the end.

McCrae really lost his temper after the MVP nominations, and pretty much threatened Spencer in the storage room, giving away his alliance in the process.  Then he tried to suck up later and get back in Spencer's good graces.

But everybody knows that McCranda would never sacrifice each other for someone else.  So they need to get split up now.

Plus, I'm getting really skeeved out by their constant slurpy swapping of fluids.  But on the bright side, I think Amanda would really enjoy some of the glamorous activities that the pre-Jury evictees get invited to.  More on that later...

Gina Marie is wearing one of Andy's shirts today.  They are all locked down outside now waiting for the PoV ceremony to begin.

Team Judd Shuts Down Englewood Tennessee #BB15

CBS was in town to interview Judd's family for a segment on the show, and the whole town got together to put on a parade and celebrate the "local boy done good".

Check out the "Judd for President" sign in the picture.  Ha ha.

I'm excited to see Judd's family on the show this week.  Do you think they will need subtitles, too?

Family, friends and fans turned out Sunday in downtown Englewood, Tenn., to celebrate “Big Brother” contestant and native son Judd Daughtery. (BETSY PICKLE)

ENGLEWOOD, Tenn. — Mother Nature and the CSX Railroad cooperated Sunday afternoon as family, friends and fans of “Big Brother” contestant and Englewood, Tenn., native son Judd Daughtery turned out to “get on the Judd train.”

The locomotive seemed to whistle its approval of the celebration, although the sound effects coming from the tracks parallel to the Main Street stage meant a few reshoots for the CBS producer and Atlanta-based camera and sound crew trying to capture feature footage for the popular CBS reality elimination game show.

Close to 200 people turned out on the sunny afternoon to show their support for Daughtery, 26, one of the 12 “houseguests” remaining from the original 16. Many leaned against storefronts seeking shade from awnings as they waited patiently for the TV crew to finish filming at the home of Daughtery’s parents, Andy and Tana Daughtery, and head downtown.

Family friend Lyndsey Hensley of Englewood watches the show and keeps track of the houseguests’ doings on Twitter.

“I watch Twitter 24 hours a day,” she said.

“Big Brother” fan Ann Williams, who came with her parents, Barbara and David Gray, and boyfriend Dallas Dockery, all of Maryville, made two trips to McMinn County: one on Saturday to pick up the #TEAMJUDD T-shirts she found on Facebook and the other on Sunday.

Williams turned her parents into “BB” fans — with the help of Daughtery.

“I mainly watch it for Judd,” said Barbara Gray. “He’s been a perfect gentleman. I hope he wins.”

Williams, who watches the live feeds on http://www.cbs.com as well as the “Big Brother After Dark” shows on cable, also keeps tabs on all the “BB” blogs.

“I pretty much know what’s going on all the time in the house,” she said. “I think he’s playing a fantastic game. He’s not mean to anybody. Everybody in the house likes him. Nobody really wants to stab him in the back — yet.

“He probably won’t go all the way to the end, but we all hope that he does.”

Daughtery’s relatives made up a large portion of the crowd. Both of his grandmothers, Leona Haney of Etowah and Zelma Edmonson of Englewood, were there as were aunts, uncles and lots of cousins.

Emcee Tim Childress, a lifelong friend of Daughtery’s parents, revved up the crowd and passed along directions from the TV crew. The crowd willingly stretched down both sides of the street, formed a parade and then gathered around the stage — then did it again so that the cameraman could get different angles.

Onstage, Andy Daughtery, who never watched “Big Brother” before this season, professed that his sister, longtime “BB” fan Angie Lambert, was correct when she told him, “It’s big,” and expressed thanks to his son’s supporters.

Everyone in the crowd seemed to agree that Daughtery’s most outstanding characteristic was his “kind heart.” But one of his oldest friends, Kevin Carter, said Daughtery has the ability to win the typically cutthroat game.

“He’s staying real calm and collected,” said Carter. “He’ll do whatever it takes to win — whatever he’s gotta do. He’s been wanting to do this for 10 years, so he finally got his chance.”
