SuperPass Live Chat with Dan, Frank and Ian Part 2 #BB14

After the break Missy leads the interview.  (You can see my recap of Part #1 here.)

She jumps right into it by reading a fan question that sounds like it was slamming Frank for being barefoot in the BB house.  Frank said why should he wear shoes if he didn't need to?  Missy asks Frank his shoe size and he says 12.

Dan says his favorite time so far in Seattle was when Frank showed up at the hotel room (Room 116) with his fluffy iconic hair and they all sat down and talked.  He liked that part.  Then Missy put Frank on blast by saying he is the only one who has EVER visited the set who asked where he could use a mirror in the studio.

Frank:  Why you gotta call me out like that?  Everyboy's watchin!

Missy touches The Hair and says she can't see where he trimmed it.  (Missy is TeamIan.)

Dan  takes a question and goes on an on and on about it.  Dominating this part of the chat as well.  Something about why he voted out Joe and not Shane. Dan plugs his new website where he is going to watch the BB episodes for the first time and give his commentary about them as he watches.  I think you can buy access to this important event and he might have guests come in, too.  Dan is a great businessman.  That is for sure.

Mike Boogie told Frank there were some things he needed to see, so he watched some episodes at Mike's house, up until the part where he was evicted.  He hasn't had time to watch the rest yet, but jokes why would he watch it if he wasn't on there?

Ian answers a question by saying he made a Final Two deal with Dan right after the OTEV POV challenge.  Dan can't just let Ian talk, so he pulls out his "Mist" and sprays Ian while he speaks.  Both Ian and Frank say "please no more mist" and Ian said it smelled like orange.

Not content to just spray mist, Dan monopolizes things by telling Missy it's getting hot in there, and he needs to take off his shirt.   Oh ha ha Dan is wearing that same old T-shirt.  He's like fucking Carrot Top on there, with his props and canned jokes.

A caller asked how Dan could read the Bible all of the time and then steal all of those things from the house and sell them?  Dan chuckles that he loves that question and refers to his stolen items as "artifacts that he took to give to the fans".  (Ebay isn't "giving", Dan.)

Missy says that Frank smells really good.   Dan wonders if maybe she smells the Mist, but Missy says no, she's smelling Frank and he smells good.  Ian says Frank does use deodarant and is not stinky.

SuperPass Chat with Dan, Frank and Ian Part #1 #BB14

Once again, I was sitting right on time to watch a SuperPass show and missed part of it.  I could even hear Dan talking behind the music on the preview screen that I was watching.   Apparently I had to click some effing screen to see it live.  Yadda yadda yadda 36 minutes blew by...

As you can see they are all sitting on a panel with Spicy and are taking calls from fans who are really happy to get through to talk to their favorite BB guys.  I don't know if you can tell, but Frank is wearing a PBS T-shirt, a little nod to last night's presidential debate.  No politics here on my website, though.  Spicy proudly sports her Frank Eudy T-shirt.

People are calling in and are just gushing over them and it is a big love fest.  All callers will receive an autographed picture--the first 15 or so.  It sounds kind of like Dan is trying to take control of things.  He gave a coach's whistle out to a few callers, and even has a little bottle of "mist" and sprays the camera when one of his fans deserves it.  One caller complimented Frank on mending fences with Dan, and another caller asked Ian if he's been dating.  No, he hasn't.

Chelsea announced a special guest on the line.  I immediately knew who it was, but she said hello a few times and no one got it.  It was KRISTIN from BB12 and Ian just erupted in a big smile when he heard it was her.  She congratulated him on his win and he told her that if she visited Pittsburgh or New Orleans than "the beers are on him".

Ian had to explain to her that he goes to school in New Orleans and thanked her for calling.  Then Dan took over and asked Kristin if she would go out with Ian if he ever visited Los Angeles.  She said she would.

Ian:  Mom, book that plane ticket!  Book it now!

(Now THAT is funny.  I wonder if Mom approves?)

After Kristin hung up Dan chided Ian that he was going to hang up on her!  And Dan got him a date!  Kristin said she "would pick him up in her Smart Car".

They all clapped about the date.  Kristin said "people tweeted her about Ian".  She's one of those people who can't be bothered to keep up with Big Brother, I guess.  I wonder what she's so busy doing?

A caller asked Dan if he has spoken to Danielle.  He kind of side stepped that, but mentioned hearing that Danielle's bag on Ebay was over $60,000.  He thinks that when you start messing with someone's money, it is not cool and wants everyone to take it easy on her.

A guy called in from "Forchan" (?) and asked Ian about posting there.  Dan explained for "non computer nerds like Frank and Spicy" that is some sort of secret message board where you post anonymously.  Ian mentions "getting a trip" and says any postings that appear to be by him are false.  Dan and Frank haven't posted, either, so those are false as well.

A guy called in and got negative with Frank, saying that didn't he think all of his bragging about winning competitions hurt him in the game, mentioning how he carved his water bottle with his BB stats.  Dan interrupts and says that Frank's water bottle reminds him of "Mr. Echo on Lost" and they all nod.  (?)

Dan is selling Mr. Monk Monk and has some glib patter about why he's doing that.  He actually had a chat with Mr. Monk Monk about why he needed to go.

They have all seen Wil's parody videos and loved them.  Dan took over that conversation and said that Wil was very talented and his impressions of Joe were particularly good.  Spicy signs off for a 5 minute break and Dan says he has some "Renegade" armbands for her to thank her for her support this year.

Frank:  The asskisser of the year right here...

Spicy says that the other Real employees gave her shit for wearing her TeamFrank T-shirt, calling her an asskisser for wearing it.

This is Frank listening to the caller who was accusing him of bragging too much.

Also, during the interview Spicy had Frank introduce one of the callers so Dan had to get in on that and asked to introduce one, too.  Dan is very competitive in this situation.  A caller also asked Frank if he would be able to get a job now.  He said he sure hoped so, but he needed to get home first so he could start looking for work.  Spicy asked them what they did last night.  Ian and Dan went to eat pizza and "have hipster ice cream".  Then they sat in the hotel room and talked.  Frank got in too late and missed the pizza party, but sat in the room with them (Room 116) and talked for awhile.  Sounds like they missed the debate.  Dan said he heard about it but somehow restrained himself from cheering at the results.

Overall the tone is light and fun.  Part #2 up next.  (You can see my Part #2 recap here.)

Twitter Roundup #BB14

Frank, Dan and Ian have made the pilgrimage to Seattle for a SuperPass visit.  They have a chat that is scheduled to start any minute now, actually.

A few days ago, Dan's wife tweeted that Dan has signed with CAA (Creative Artist's Agency) for representation.  I think they are going to rep him for speaking engagements.  Through my job, I used to have speakers' catalogs from several different agencies.  The speakers are separated by type  (political figures, athletes, entertainers, etc) and there was a short bio for each of them, and there was a separate price sheet enclosed that listed the speech rates for each celebrity.  I remember Colin Powell had really high rates, but I could spend hours at my desk just thumbing through that catalog and checking the price sheet.

Congrats to Dan.  This is a big deal.  I'm guessing Dan's speech rate will start at $15,000 or so, and companies can hire him to present a speech at their meetings.  He will have to give a big cut to the agency, but he's still going to earn a fortune from this.  The companies he presents for will also likely cover his travel expenses.  The one I used to work for would pick up speakers on a private jet, if they asked us to.  I don't know if Dan has the juice for that yet, but who knows...

Dan flew to Seattle with his favorite movie in his carry-on bag, apparently.

Frank checked into the hotel and went for dinner downstairs.  Dan tweeted his room number.  Swing by and see him if you can.  I'm sure he'd love it.

Speaking of dinner, Frank ordered a big fat steak with a big fat huge glob of herb butter on top.  Wow.  Fatty-licious.

This lucky Team Frank fan won Frank's Jury House painting.

Frank saw this T-shirt in the hotel gift shop.  Ha.

Frank ate breakfast downstairs.  If you know anything about Seattle, it is pretty easy to figure out where they are staying.  It is very near the old Real World Seattle house, I think.  Seattle is one gorgeous place.  Really nice.  I worked there for 6 weeks a few years ago, and there are a few bridges I would cross in the morning on the way to the office where I was over water, with a different mountain range on either side.  Hard to feel stressed out in surroundings like that...

Is Dan standing on his tippy toes here?

Frank got in one last workout on the bleachers at his old high school.

Shane tweeted a picture of his evening with Danielle.  I listened live to their chat on BBAD Radio on Tuesday night.  It was BRUTAL, with many callers berating Danielle about her lies about cancer.  (You can google BBAD Radio and find the archived version pretty easily.  Chef Joe did one, too, but I haven't had the chance to listen yet.)  Shane mentioned that he returned home to find that his roommate burned his bed, without giving an explanation.  Hmmm.  Don't worry Shane.  I hear it gets better.

Here's an interesting twitter conversation between Shanielle and Chris, who is one of Shane's friends.

Janelle got some new lipstick. Wowza.  Can you imagine looking into the mirror and seeing that?

And Rachel and Brendon have made some fitness goals for October and are encouraging fans and friends everywhere to join them.  They pledge to workout and eat right for the entire month of October.   This twitter exchange is a few days old, but is interesting because James Rhine is getting in on the action.
