Meet DOTS

This is a test of the new program I just found to take screenshots.  It's not as easy as BB Reloader, but I guess I'll get used to it.

I'm going to see this picture a lot this season.  In the old days we had FOTH, and that morphed into FISH.

I think I shall call it DOTS. That's what it looks like, colorful DOTS.  (Bubbles, really, but that is too long to type.)

Countdown.......

The CBS show starts in less than one hour, and the live feeds will start at midnight tonight.  I had to get up at 5:00 am for work today, but I am going to stay awake tonight and post updates as long as I can.  I need to build my late night stamina for a project like this.

Having said that, the Real.com Flashback feature lets me watch key events on the feeds at any time, so that will allow me to cover the important stuff for you, even if I have to do it a day later.   I know I am tooting my own horn here, but my updates kick ass.

I used to write updates for one of the major Big Brother websites, and did it regularly through Season #5.  A number of people contacted me to ask why I stopped writing updates and asked me to come back.   But I just got so irritated with the process, for many, many reasons.  Maybe I just needed a break.  I started this website mid-season last year and I'm building momentum every day.

I guess I'm a frustrated writer and consider it a challenge to describe what I see and hear in an entertaining and informative way.  One thing you won't see here is updates like this one:

Susie and Bobby talking strategy in the green room  NT

or

Bobby and Jim list all the celebrities they banged.  NT

And those of you who read the big websites know exactly what I mean.  Many of the updates suck on other websites and don't even begin to tell you what you need to know.  So there, I've said it.  I will try to make sure my updates, when I can write them, don't suck.

That is my pledge to you, the Big Brother fans.  We're all in this together.

PS  Please feel free to link my page as you see fit.  If I am going to put in all this effort, I want as many people to read it as possible.

So, What Happened to that 14th Houseguest?

I've been wondering, so I nosed around and found this on JokersUpdates.com.

Apparently this chick got scared and left sequester.  Hey, I guess it happens.

I'd be surprised if Allison Grodner & Co. didn't have a few back-up plans for this. Maybe there will be a surprise addition to the cast in a week or two, or maybe someone will have the chance to come back so that the eviction schedule works out.

Or maybe, just maybe, the Saboteur will be able to stay on and try to win the game.

I guess we shall wait and see.  Meanwhile, does anybody know this Paola Aviles from Huntington Beach?

Allison Grodner Speaks

as she begins her annual Big Brother odyssey.  This is a great interview with Allison conducted by Matt Whitfield from YahooTV.  There are some colorful pictures of the interior of the  house, too.

Have you started counting down yet?

PS  I try not to make this about me, but I have to say that last night I celebrated my year anniversary of quitting cigarettes.  I wasn't a huge smoker---a few packs a week---but I had repeatedly tried to quit and couldn't make it stick.  But last year, July 7th was the BB11 premiere night and I went to see a MLB game with a friend who was apparently oblivious to the fact that she bought baseball tickets on the BB premiere night.

I got home after 10:30 PM EST, and as you all know the live feeds kick off at Midnight EST on the night of the premiere.  So once I got home from the game, I was rushing around trying to take my dog out and get comfortable so I could watch the BB CBS show and still be ready for the kick off of the Live Feeds.

I was a little buzzed from drinking beers at the game, and of course that is Prime Time for cigarettes.  I only had one cigarette, so I smoked the hell out of it.  Normally I would have run down to the store on the corner to pick up more, but due to BB I didn't have time to do it.

And the next day, I was way too busy watching the feeds to leave the house to buy smokes.  So I decided to quit.

And it stuck.  Finally.  And I always have cash in my wallet now.  No more smoky smell.  A big win all around.

OK.  That's it for me....back to Big Brother.
